Hi, I’m Paula, the girl behind Tropic Muse 🤎
I’m originally from Cádiz, in the south of Spain, but I’ve spent the last ten years travelling, living abroad and working seasons — usually never too far from the beach.
The idea for Tropic Muse actually came after a trip to Bali. I found so many beautiful bikinis and prints, but I couldn’t find the kind of fit I love wearing back home in Spain — smaller cuts, flattering shapes and bikinis that show a little more skin.
So when I got back to Australia, I sat down at my living room table and started designing my own.
And that’s how Tropic Muse began.
I wanted to create bikinis that feel sexy, comfortable and effortless — the ones you always end up reaching for when the sun is out.
And yes, our cuts are cheeky and small on purpose. Less fabric, fewer tan lines and a little more freedom to wear what makes you feel good.
Tropic Muse was born here in Port Douglas, inspired by the life I’ve built in Australia, but with a little piece of Spain in every design.
